Alison McMahon Louise and Bob Harris were surprised to have beautiful twin daughters, Alison, 5 minutes the eldest to Tracey. Alison Harris was born October 3, 1961 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. In 1966, Rob and Lisa Harris, twins as well, were born in Toronto, Ontario. Alison spent her first 6 years in Klienberg, Ontario, Canada. In 1968, The Harris Family moved to Beaverton, Oregon, where Alison and Tracey enjoyed riding their bikes up to the rec-center where they took pleasure in taking swim lessons together. This is where Alison found her love for swimming. Alison and Tracey also started ballet. Alison kept this love alive for ballet throughout middle and high school years, which eventually led her to her success with a part in 'The Pacific Northwest Dance Company' with her role as a soldier in the, 'The Nutcracker'. After moving to Oregon, the Harris Family lived in Youngstown, New York for one year. This is where Alison and Tracey started swimming competitively on a Junior Olympic Swim Team. In 1971, The Harris Family moved to Oakville, Ontario where Alison and Tracey enjoyed figure skating. In 1974, The Harris Family moved to Edmonds, WA where Alison enjoyed dance at Dorothy Fischer Dance Academy and swam competitively at Meadowdale High School where she broke many records, as well as, ran track and has the high jump record remaining to this day. After High School Alison worked in retail for many years, achieving many honors in top sales proficiency and this led her to have the desire to get a higher education. Alison was married in 1987 and gave birth to her beautiful baby daughter (her only child) named Ashley Marie McMahon (now 19 years old). Alison was divorced in 2000, which led her to moving to Seattle in finishing her Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources. Alison interned at Evergreen Hospital in 2002. Because of her positive influence and love for people, Alison was hired in 2002 as The Human Resource Coordinator and Events Specialist. All who had the privilege of knowing and working with her on a daily basis loved Alison. Alison was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2006 and bravely battled nine months of chemotherapy and radiation working the entire year until she could no longer work in March, 2007. Alison's mother, Louise, and father, Bob took loving care of their daughter in their home until she was sent to Hospice. Hospice was a loving environment where Alison was cared for by many, wonderful staff that she hired throughout the years. Alison passed away peacefully on June 24, 2007 with her daughter, Ashley McMahon, mother and father, Bob and Louise, twin sister, Tracey Thomas, younger sister, Lisa Jensen, nephew-Brandon Jensen, brother Rob Harris and Fred Lenz lovingly by her side.
